CREAM ALFA Database

The ALFA database is a three-tiered approach to quality requirements for foor producers using up-to-date EU standards. Our structured documentation outlines each level, ensuring that you meet the necessary standards for your field, whether you’re a vegetable or fruit producer, cheese maker, dairy manufacturer, or livestock farmer.

Our professional definition of the basic quality level exceeds the edible standard, ensuring that your products are not just consumable, but of the highest possible quality – we call this CREAM Good. By meeting the CREAM standard, you can guarantee that your products stand out from the rest and meet the expectations of consumers.

Our structured documentation adheres to EU standards, ensuring that all CREAM certified agricultural and food industry producers meet the highest quality requirements. We are creating a country-specific version of the ALFA database, which includes a comprehensive list of Uzbekistan’s CREAM certified producers and their products. With this database, consumers can easily find and trust in the quality of Uzbekistan’s agricultural products.

Timeline

Obtaining Resources

This step involves securing the financial resources necessary to implement the CREAM System, with support funds from the government of Uzbekistan and the EU. Obtaining these resources is crucial for the successful implementation of the CREAM System, which will enhance the quality control of agricultural products and increase export volume.

2023

"A" Database

The Alfa database will be adapted to meet the needs of Uzbekistan. This database is an essential part of the CREAM System as it contains information on the quality standards for agricultural products. Adapting the Alfa database for Uzbekistan will ensure that local farmers and producers have access to up-to-date information on quality standards.

“P&P” Database

This step involves creating a local Products and Producers (P&P) database. This database will contain information on local farmers and their qualified products. The “A” database will be uploaded with data from the local farmers and their products, allowing for easy access to information on high-quality agricultural products.

2024

Farmers Integration

In this final step, qualified local farmers will be integrated into the CREAM System. The integration process will involve communication between local farmers and the CREAM System to ensure that all requirements for the certification and assurance system are met. By integrating local farmers into the CREAM System, they will have access to a vast network of potential buyers across Europe, thereby increasing their sales and revenue.

The MIP implementation period from 2021 to 2027 allows for flexible adjustments as national policy priorities evolve to align with the 2030 targets, providing a dynamic approach to sustainable development.

The European Union’s support plays a crucial role in enhancing Uzbekistan’s capacity to execute the Agri-Food Development Strategy (2020-2030) and the National Food Security and Nutrition Strategy.
